Passing broker information in the 834 5010a1 transaction set
Description
Can you confirm that the 1000C - N102 and N104 should contain the Broker Name and Broker identifier code?
Please explain who assigns the values of the 1000C - ACT01 & ACT06? Both are labeled Account Number. Is this assigned by the party receiving the transaction or the party sending it?
RFI Response
Technical Report Type 3 for 834 Benefit Enrollment and Maintenance (005010X220A1) does require the contents of loop 1000C N102 and N104 to be the TPA or Broker Name and TPA or Broker Identification Code respectively.
