Description
Does usage of loop 2200 Disability information depend in any way on value of element INS04? i.e. loop 2200 is required when INS04 is 21 and not used otherwise
RFI Response
When INS04 is present and equal to "21" the 2200 loop is required. This is not the only time that the 2200 loop can be required. The 200 loop will also be present in cases where the INS04 is not present due to a new enrollment or the payer not needing to know the reason for change, and disability information applies to the enrollment or change.
