X12 Election Results: Fetzer Re-elected and Jopp Welcomed to the X12 Board

Stephanie Fetzer and Devin Jopp, Ed.D. were elected in January 2020 to serve on X12's Board of Directors through January of 2022.

Ms. Fetzer, of HCL Software, currently serves as the Board Chair and was re-elected to her fourth term, "It's a privilege and honor to continue to work with the X12 member representatives and this talented Board to achieve new levels of success. I’m looking forward to working with Devin as well, the experience he brings to the Board is a welcome addition, and I have high expectations for what we can all accomplish together for the benefit of the X12 members and industries we serve".

Dr. Jopp, CEO of the American College Health Association, was elected to his first term, "X12 has been a cornerstone of data exchange in health care and stands at a crossroads as the industry continues to evolve to support new business models and increasing integration with clinical data exchanges. In addition, new technologies present many opportunities across the spectrum of industries X12 supports, or could support, and X12 is uniquely positioned to lead the way. I am honored to have been chosen to help guide X12 through its next evolution."

A third Board seat will be filled via a run-off election between Dan Kazzaz and Jim Taylor, who have both previously served as X12 Directors and who are personally committed to supporting X12’s success. The results of the run-off election will be announced by the end of March.
