X12 Announces New Board Officers
X12 is pleased to announce the election of new board officers. The new board chair and vice chair will serve a two-year term through October 15, 2021.
- Stephanie Fetzer – Board Chair
- Gary Beatty – Board Vice Chair
Ms. Fetzer was first elected to the X12 Board in 2014 and has served as the Board’s vice chair since February 2015, bringing innovative ideas and a practical approach to the Board’s deliberations. As a Product Manager for HCL, Ms. Fetzer interacts daily with solutions and implementers who rely on X12’s standards and associated products to make their businesses successful.
Mr. Beatty has served on the Board since 2015 and brings fresh perspectives and insights as he steps into the vice chair role. Mr. Beatty has long been recognized as an EDI expert with strong corporate leadership skills that will continue to contribute to X12’s success.
Fetzer is enthusiastic about X12’s future, “I’ve enjoyed being a part of X12’s forward progress over the past five years and look forward to leading this strong and diverse board while working closely with the dedicated volunteers that invest so much time and effort into providing what businesses need to succeed as X12 moves forward”.
The Board also established a new honorary designation, Chair Emeritus, intended to pay tribute to an immediate past chair who demonstrated excellent leadership during their term(s) as Board Chair. X12 is pleased to announce Jim Taylor, who served as Board chair from February 2015 until October 2019, as the first-ever recipient of X12’s Chair Emeritus honor.
