Reasons for seeking a board position
I am an incumbent and current member of the ASC X12 Board of Directors. I ran and was blessed to be selected to serve in the 2022 to 2024 term and I would like to continue serving in this manner.
Executive Leadership Experience
Over the last two years I’ve been an active member of the ASC X12 Board of Directors overseeing the operations of the organization, providing input into the financials/budget processes, and helping set and overseeing the progression of key strategic initiatives.
Currently, I’m a Senior Director of Product Management at Redwood Software. From the Product organization, I own our Managed File Transfer solutions JSCAPE and Cerberus. I’m responsible for the strategic direction of the products under my organization, I lead a development team and a Product Management staff. I’m responsible for the day-to-day operations / management of the product lines, the roadmaps, crit sits with the product, and own the overall success of the product lines.
Personal Qualities and Qualifications
I am a technology leader and innovator with a long history/background using, designing, selling, and leading implementations and operations of B2B/EDI systems across Fortune 500 organizations. I spent multiple years leading claims intake and adjudication systems at Principal Financial Group, I helped kick off the chiropractic claims clearinghouse that was built in to FutureHealth Inc’s EHR offerings, I have designed and sold X12 based solutions while working for the likes of Axway and IBM (twice employed by IBM).
Industry Participation
Over the last several years I’ve been a regular attendee of our standing meetings, I have participated in the board of directors' meetings for the past two years in helping manage the organization.
Candidate Statement
I’ve enjoyed the last two years serving on the board of directors, I appreciate the opportunity and responsibility that I have been entrusted with. I owe so much of my career and success to my association with and work with the ASC X12 standards, and it is my hope that you will entrust me with another term to continue this work.
