Repeat Usage of Loop 2000A in a Single ST Segment (837)
Description
We are wanting clarification on the repeat usage of Loop 2000A. Can a single ST contain multiple billing providers in a single ST/SE (repeating use of Loop 2000A)?
Scenario
A payer only supports 1 ST/SE segment in a file but states they want multiple providers sent in the same ST, expecting repeating HL 2000A, 1 HL per provider.
RFI Response
Per the X12 837 Specifications, Loop 2000A supports a repeat of greater than 1, which supports sending multiple 2000A loops.
