837I compliance question
Description
We are looking for a way to report cost acquisition of a drug on the 837i, our issue is that here does not seem to be a place that can be purposed for this and still remain compliant. The field would hold a currency data type. Any help in this would be appreciated.

Currently there is no segment or element available for reporting drug acquisition costs.

Please submit a Maintenance Request at http://www.x12.org/maintenance-requests/ for any business need not currently met by the 837 transaction.
