Description
Is it compliant with TR3 to send '0' in element 2400\SV504 (DME Rental Price)?

Zero "0” is precluded for SV504 based on the situational rule on the segment which states “Required when necessary to report both the rental and purchase price information for durable medical equipment. This is not used for claims where the provider is reporting only the rental price or only the purchase price….” If the value in SV504 is “0”, that means that there is no rental price, therefore, the segment should not be present at all.
