X12 Survey Regarding JSON
X12 is broadening opportunities for trading partners to leverage X12 standard metadata using JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) syntax.
Participants of the X12 JSON Proof of Concept program (PoC) have evaluated opportunities to increase flexibility and simplify, potentially creating an easier path for Application Programming Interface (API) integrations built on X12's mature data definitions. More recently, the X12 Business-to-Everything Subcommittee (B2X) has been engaged to help better understand use cases and potentially create case studies, whitepapers, or guidance documents to assist implementers.
As the PoC group prepares to finalize recommendations and instructions, we want to further understand how today’s realities are shaping your strategies or material interest in JSON solutions utilizing X12's efficient metadata and related standards.
