Informational Forum for the 999, Implementation Acknowledgment for Health Care Insurance (007030X335) and the 824, Application Reporting for Insurance (007030X321)
X12 will conduct an informational forum related to the above technical reports on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time.
The Implementation Acknowledgment for Health Care Insurance is to provide standardized data content and structure to users of the X12 999 Implementation Acknowledgment transaction set for the health care industry. This 999 is not limited to only Implementation Guide (IG) errors. It can report standard syntax errors, as well as IG errors.
The Application Reporting for Insurance Implementation Guide describes the use of the X12 Application Advice 824 transaction set for the following business usages:
- To report errors that are outside of the scope of the X12 997 or 999 error reporting
- To report the results of an application system's data content edits of transaction sets
The submitted comments, and associated responses will be available from May 17, 2021 until the conclusion of the informational forum.
