Changes from Previous Release

The latest version of Glass, 008060, includes minor changes to how information is presented.

The latest version of Glass includes minor changes to how information is presented. These changes are intentional to provide clarity and consistency, or in some cases required due to technical specifications. These changes may be noticeable to seasoned readers, and are summarized below.

The menu has moved from the far-left side of the header to the far-right. The new design uses a slightly larger font size and line spacing, creating a less visually compact appearance. Some users may wish to adjust their browser’s zoom setting. Loop repeats now appear in the navigation tree, as seen in this example:

Loop Repeat Nav Tree Example

Also note the prefix “Loop” is no longer used for loops in the navigation tree. For example, "Loop 2000 " will now show as "2000" in the tree. Multiple loops under one table will now display in the tree under a single table header. Previously they would appear on multiple lines, each with the table label. See below for a before and after presentation.

LS - LE Header/Trailers appear differently in the Implementation Guide Viewer. Previously, LS/LE would be presented as a loop, as in the picture below:

They are now presented like this, which is a more accurate representation of how they function.

Previously the splitter that separates the navigation tree from the content pane could be adjusted in either direction without restriction, now the navigation pane has a set minimum width.

Navigation tree links now behave differently if hovered over or clicked. If a subpage has content, it will appear highlighted when the cursor hovers over it, and clicking will take you to the content. If there is no content it will not highlight, and clicking will collapse/uncollapse its subpages.

Section 2.3.2 X12 Standard Usage (USG) column will now correctly use the Standard abbreviations “M” and “O” instead of the TR3 abbreviations “R” and “S.”
